What we do

History of Rob's Tax Service

Robin, having worked for the IRS for about 2 years, decided to start Rob's Tax Service out of her own home back in 1979. Many of her friends and colleagues always had questions about preparing their tax returns, knowing she worked for the IRS. What was once a few questions, later became preparing tax returns for these friends and colleagues. Back before programs like Turbo Tax and Pro Series were introduced, Robin would prepare these returns by hand.

During the 1990's, as the business grew, Robin knew she had to respond to an increasing demand for her services. It was during this time, that she hired her first employees, opened her first office (she had been operating this service from her home), and upgraded to computers, using the latest programs designed for handling multiple tax returns. It was also at this time, that the business grew so much, that Robin decided to hire multiple tax preparers (including two of her sons) to meet demand.

Today, Rob's Tax Service is one of the largest tax services in the Las Vegas area. We use all the latest tax programs, and keep up to date with the always changing tax laws. Our security system is second to none, as the confidentiality of your personal information is very important to us. Our newest location is centrally located, and easily accessible from both I-15, I-215 and US-95. Major cross streets are Eastern and Hacienda.
